Fatou Bah


Fatou Bah lived in a village called Kinteh Kunda Janeya
on the north bank region of the Gambia forty five kilometers from the city. She live with her family and they are both farmers but his father can also drive cars which is his first occupation but as he has no cars to drive he has to do farming to make food on the table. Fatou has a brother younger and a sister who came from different mother who pass away six months ago due to breast cancer. Fatou help her mum in vegetable garden during dry season and rice field
during raining season, she fetches fire wood and help her father to water bananas which they grow at home.


Fatou said she had goats and chickens only this belongs to the family and they are both for commercial purpose and for consumption. Fatou said she likes to visit her friends after school and she likes to play with her brothers who lost their
mother through cancer. She likes to read and study during her leisure time. Fatou live in a predominantly mandinka village which is the largest tribe in the Gambia
